The North Fork Women for Women Fund will present a $1,500 scholarship to a deserving public high school senior in Riverhead, Shelter Island or Southold Townships. The scholarship will be awarded to the student with the best essay on inclusion and diversity in their school or community. Students can be female, male or non-binary.
The scholarship may be used for any post-secondary education chosen by the winning student. This scholarship is intended to help deserving students from the North Fork explore their own passions and interests, with a goal of returning to our communities the same generous and adventurous spirit that Anne MacKay exemplified in her many decades here.
Preference will be given to culturally diverse students, low income students and/or the first from their family to go to college.
