Active Membership to the Coop involves taking responsibility for care of the hens one day each week and one coop clean every couple of months. Each visit takes about half an hour and involves feeding, watering and cleaning up after the hens. Members are welcome to any eggs available on their visit day. Full training will be provided. Members must take responsibility for providing cover for any shifts they cannot make. By ticking this box you are agreeing to these duties.
Once assigned a visit day and active membership begins a contribution of £5 per month will be requested. This £5 will help make the coop sustainable and pay for the chicken feed purchased each month. The account is held by Sustaining Dunbar and payment is by monthly standing order.
