Owner Surrender Appointment Request
Please complete the form (up to 7 pets) in its entirety to request an appointment to surrender your pet(s) to San Antonio Animal Care Services. We recommend gathering good, clear pictures of all pets prior to completing this form as this form does not save unless completed in full.

Owner surrender requests are $25 (per pet) and by appointment only on Tuesdays - Saturdays from 11am - 1pm.*
There may be a 4 - 6 week wait for the next available appointment.*
This service is only available to citizens who reside inside San Antonio City limits to surrender my pet(s) to San Antonio Animal Care Services.*
San Antonio Animal Care Services is not a "no kill" shelter. Upon surrender, ownership is immediately transferred to San Antonio Animal Care Services and your pet could be euthanized.*
