  • Veteran Information Submission for Placement of Veteran's Name on the Placer County Veterans Monument or Replica Plaque

  • Thank you for supporting the Placer County Veterans Monument.

The Placer County Veterans Monument was dedicated on November 11, 2019, at 11:11 am at McBean Park. It was the 101st anniversary of the Armistice, celebrating the end of World War I. It was also the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, established a year later. Today we call it Veterans Day.

The Monument will be a dedicated place to express gratitude for those who have served and currently serve; but further, to deeply honor those who have lost their lives in the service of the United States. It is our goal to create a Monument that honors our Veterans’ while at the same time promoting civic pride.

Mark your calendar to attend the Veteran's Day ceremony at the Placer County Veterans Monument site on Veterans Day, November 11th at 11:11 AM at McBean Park!  Please plan to attend.  We do try and Facebook Live the ceremony at Facebook.com/LincolnVeteransMemorial
