Please read through the following recommendations and expectations for Faculty Mentors working with Honors students on their senior thesis:
-Meet with the student regularly during the semesters in which the project is being completed.
-Work with the student to determine a timeline, goals and expectations for the project.
-Determine whether the student's project requires IRB approval and, if so, assist the student in the submission process.
-Submit to the Honors College the evaluation rubric and indicate Pass or Unsatisfactory.
-Help the student prepare for an oral presentation.
-Support student applications for funding in the Honors College and other venues.
-Attend the Undergraduate Research and Inquiry Across the Disciplines Day in support of your student.
