This application is the first step in joining the Promised Love family.

We believe in thoughtful, temperament-based placement. Each puppy is raised with intention, and our goal is to match personality, confidence, and energy level with the right home — not just place puppies based on order.

Please take your time answering. There are no “right” answers. Your responses simply help us understand your home, your lifestyle, and what you’re hoping for so we can make the best possible match for both your family and our puppies.

Submitting this application does not guarantee placement, but it is the first step in being considered for a Promised Love puppy.

Tell me about your daily life and what a typical week looks like in your home with a dog. Please include your schedule, activity level, exercise plans, time the puppy would be alone, and how you plan to provide structure, training, and enrichment.

Puppies learn through positive reinforcement, thoughtful environmental management, and consistent guidance. Please describe how you would approach common puppy behaviors such as barking, chewing, potty accidents, jumping, or leash pulling using proactive management and reinforcement-based strategies.

Have you previously owned and raised a Golden Retriever or another puppy breed?

Are you aware that raising a puppy requires significant daily time, structure, patience, and consistency — particularly during the first two years of life?

Regarding Therapy, Facility, or Service Placement:

Selection for therapy, facility, or service work is based on formal temperament evaluation and developmental assessment. While each puppy is thoughtfully evaluated, placement into specific working roles cannot be guaranteed and is determined soley at the breeder's discretion.

If you selected therapy, facility, or service work, please describe your goals, intended working environment, prior training experience (if any) and your long-term plan for structured training, certification and mentorship.
