History of the Beaver County
Purpose: The Extravaganza is a charity event supporting the Beaver County Children and Youth Services Advisory Board to help provide funds for assistance to youth in foster care that go beyond those available through normal agency funding. The proceeds are a jointly shared with U.S. SARR Corps which is headquartered in Beaver Falls. This is an all volunteer nonprofit organization whose mission is the finding of those who go missing, both children and adults, for any reason.
In 2019, the Beaver County Christmas Extravaganza will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary. For twenty eight years, it was known as the Festival of Trees. In 2018, the name was changed to reflect the extensive changes and additions being made both inside and on the outside grounds of the lodge site.
The changes are being made to bring more exciting traditional creative displays as well as new and different types of activities to the event. This will help to create a joyful Christmas experience for both young and old alike as well as for families. The Extravaganza can only be found throughout the tri-state area here in Beaver County.
