  • QUESTIONS:

  • Lighting Control Manufacturer:*

  • Will access to ceiling mounted devices be available, during Title 24 Acceptance Testing?*
  • Have ALL lighting control devices and light fixtures been installed and powered up?*
  • Have ALL lighting control devices been programed?*
  • Have ALL of the lighting control cables / wires been continuity tested? (0 to 10volt / Low Voltage / CAT5 / CAT6)*
  • Occupancy Sensors:

  • Were ALL manufacturers installation instructions followed? (Regarding Occupancy Sensors)*
  • Do NOT install Occupancy Sensors within 4' to 6' of any Air Supply Ducts.

  • Are the Occupancy Sensors triggered, when entering the space?*
  • TEST each sensor for proper function, correct if necessary.

  • Are the Occupancy Sensor triggered, from outside the space? (false triggering)*
  • Offices 250 sq.ft. or smaller, multipurpose rooms less than 1,000 sq.ft. and any classroom.

Require partial-ON Occupant Sensor capable of activating between 50% to 70% of light or vacancy sensor, where all lighting responds to a manual ON only.

*Night lighting is no longer allowed, when the space is un-occupied.

  • Daylight Sensors:

  • Daylight Sensors:*
  • Were the manufacturer's installation instructions followed? (Regarding the physical locations of the Daylight Sensors)*
  • Do the light go to very dim or out completely? (Test ALL Daylight Sensors, with a flashlight.)*
  • Cover the Daylight Sensor. Do the lights go to max output?*
  • Switches:

  • Are ALL light fixtures controlled by an ON / OFF switch?*
  • Does the General Lighting / Task / Ornamental / Display / Accent Lighting have their own separate switches?*
  • Is all of the General Lighting dimmable?*
  • Time Clock:

  • Has the time clock been installed and programmed?*

  • Does the override, NOT exceed the 2 hour time limit?*
  • Is the time clock schedule, included in the Lighting Submittals?*
  • Demand Response:

  • Is there a J-Box labeled "Demand Response" located near the electrical panel with two Low Voltage wires?*
  • Start Up:

  • Were the manufacturer's instructions followed, regarding Lighting Control Start Up programming?*
  • Low Voltage Track Lighting:

  • Have Title 20 MFG specific Current Limiters been installed on the lighting track?*
  • Has a Title 20 Current Limiting Panel been installed?*
  • Whenever possible, please bring the Project's Lighting Submittial Package with you, when we meet on site.
