2024 Chris Early Memorial Award Application

The Knights of Columbus Council #8376 is proud to sponsor the Chris Early Memorial Award, a monetary honor bestowed upon a high school graduating student annually, recognizing their achievements in school, church, sports, and communities activities. Participation in Life Teen is not a prerequisite. Application, essays and recommendations are due March 31.
Each applicant:
- Must be a high school student graduating in December 2024 or May 2025.
- Must be a registered member of St. Ann as of August 2024 (or in the OCIT program).
- Must fill out the application completely and follow the directions.
These applications are blind-judged. Your responses and the requested references are all the committee will see to make their decisions. The committee will not know your name – they will only know what you tell them in response to the requested information. Be thorough.

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization built on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. How have these principles played a role in your life?*

1.) SCHOOL: All activities in which you have participated at your high school, including: school clubs, volunteer activities, leadership, sports, community service, special awards, etc.

These references should know you well and be able to describe your leadership abilities, your level of responsibility and how you live your faith in your daily life. These people might include coaches, teachers, employers, youth ministers, core members or ministry heads.
