Special guest speaker: Allyson Shabel is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture and is now working on her M.S. in Plant & Soil Sciences at AAMU. She worked at the Huntsville Botanical Garden for 10 years as a horticulture specialist and has been with Alabama Cooperative Extension System as a Regional Agent for Home Grounds and Natural Resource Management since 2014 in Morgan and Lawrence Counties.
