Original abstracts that are accepted for presentation at the Women in Medicine Summit will be published in a special winter edition of the International Journal of Academic Medicine (IJAM) dedicated to the Women in Medicine Summit.
Abstracts that have been published elsewhere are not eligible for print, but are still eligible for submission for consideration to the Summit.
Perspective pieces and Inspirational Spotlights will be considered for print only. They will not be presented at the Summit.

Top abstracts will be selected for oral presentation or poster session on Friday September 20 at the Women in Medicine Summit in Chicago, IL. If selected for oral presentation, one author will need to be available to present the abstract at this session. The top abstract will be chosen by a committee of judges and announced on Saturday September 21 at the Summit.
By submitting your abstract, you are agreeing that we may distribute your abstract to WIMS attendees online or in print.

Abstracts must be limited to 500 words. This does not include the Title, authors, references). Font must be Times New Roman, 12 point. Please follow the format listed below.
Each abstract submission requires a separate application.
