Our Pal's Place is an animal advocate organization dedicated to implementing solutions to the problems that animals face. Our mission is to bring about a time when all animals are treated with kindness and compassion.

Our Pet Adoption Facility is located at 4508 Canton Road in Marietta. This is where we house homeless dogs rescued from "death row" in county shelters. Our volunteers care for our residents until they are adopted. We are a 501c3 organization and volunteer based with no paid staff. All donations go directly to the housing and care of our O.P.P. dog residents. We also have a Learning Center on-site where we empower people through education programs to help the animals.

The more volunteers we have, the more homeless pets we can help so we are excited that you are interested in joining our team! If you are a high school student under 18 years of age, please submit the following information so we can register you in New Volunteer Orientation:

Most Young Adults / High School students volunteer with Our Pal's Place during adoptions on the weekend: Saturday and Sunday 1:00-5:00pm and participate in K9 Coaching (training the dogs). Some young adults participate in Special Events & Fundraising and the Education Team. Juniors and Seniors who prove to be stellar in following safety rules and operating procedures during adoptions are given the option to participate in care-giving during the week. Other Young Adults can volunteer during the week only if a parent/guardian is a trained volunteer as well.
