General Requirements
A Student Must Be:
*Enrolled in the Certificate in Health Sciences program, and
*Planning to continue into a Nursing degree.
This is a one time non-renewable bursary of $8000 that requires a student apply for and receive a Canadian government student loan of at least $8,500. There are 3 awards available for the 24/25 school year.
All students must provide a formal government Notice of Assessment to Student Financial Services.
Bursaries are applied in a 50/50 split between Fall and Winter terms.
A student must complete 15 credits each semester (Fall and Winter) and receive a minimum 2.8 GPA in the Fall term to be able to receive the 2nd half of the award in the Winter term.
A student is not eligible to apply for this scholarship if they are receiving a 2nd degree discount or a full-tuition scholarship.
