Ever wonder about the differences between
the Cub Scout and Scouts BSA programs?
Camp Tenderfoot is an opportunity for Webelos and their parents to get a special preview into Scouts BSA, Patrol Method Camping. You can look forward to a hands-on experience of a Troop style camp-out where both Webelos and parents can experience the excitement and bonding of joining a new group of friends, the Patrol. The Scout led activity is designed to answer most of the questions from new Scouts and parents. Scouts will experience the steps in setting up a patrol campsite, share in the fellowship of a troop campfire, and engage in many hands-on skills that new Boy Scouts learn.
Parents will also enjoy the experience of an Adult Patrol over-nighter and special breakout discussions on the differences between the Cub and Troop programs, and how parents can support the growth of their Scout.
Cost for the overnight event is only $30 for a Scout and adult, other adults are welcome at $15 per person.
