PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION AGREEMENT
This agreement is between Louella Photography ("Photographer") and the Client. By booking a session, the Client agrees to the following terms.
1. Booking Fee
A non refundable booking fee of £50 is required within 24 hours of submitting the booking form to secure the session date and time.
If payment is not received within this time, the Photographer may release the booking.
Prices may change at any time. Once the booking fee is paid, the quoted price is secured.
All services are subject to availability.
2. Payment
The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.
If payment is not made at the session, a 24 hour grace period will be given. No images will be edited or delivered until full payment is received.
If the balance remains unpaid after this time, Louella Photography reserves the right to permanently delete the session images.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
The booking fee is non refundable.
Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours notice. Less notice may require a new booking fee.
If the Photographer must reschedule due to illness or emergency, a new session date will be offered.
4. Illness
If anyone in the household becomes ill before the session, the Client must notify Louella Photography as soon as possible so the session can be rescheduled.
If anyone attending appears visibly unwell, the Photographer may stop the session and reschedule.
5. Session Conduct
Clients may not take photographs of the baby using phones or cameras during the session.
Behind the scenes photos that include the Photographer are welcome and may be shared with Louella Photography afterwards.
6. Artistic Style
By booking a session, the Client confirms they are familiar with and accept the Photographer's style and editing approach.

7. Image Selection and Editing
The Photographer will select the best images from the session and provide a password protected proof gallery.
The gallery will typically include 20 to 50 images, depending on the collection purchased.
Proof galleries are usually delivered within 10 to 14 days, although this may extend during busy periods.
The Client will choose their favourite images for final editing.
Once editing has started, image selections cannot be changed.
Fully edited images are normally delivered within two weeks after selections are made.
Additional editing requests may incur an additional fee.
8. Unselected Images
Images not selected for final editing will be stored for one year and may be purchased later if desired. After this period they may be permanently deleted.
9. Copyright and Image Use
Louella Photography retains full copyright of all images.
Clients receive personal printing rights for purchased images and may share them on personal social media.
Images may not be edited, altered, sold, or used for competitions without written permission.
Watermarked proof images must not be screenshot or shared publicly.
10. Model Release
Unless the Client requests otherwise in writing, the Photographer may use images from the session for:
• portfolio display
• website
• social media
• marketing and promotional purposes
Clients may request their gallery remain private.
11. Baby and Child Cooperation
Newborn and family sessions involve babies and young children whose behaviour cannot be predicted.
The Photographer will allow time for feeding, settling, and breaks, but cannot guarantee specific poses or expressions.
The safety and comfort of the baby will always take priority.
No refunds will be issued due to a baby or child being unsettled or unable to complete certain poses.
12. Equipment and Safety
Louella Photography uses professional equipment. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring children do not interfere with equipment.
If equipment is damaged during the session due to negligence, the Client may be responsible for repair or replacement costs.
Images may be withheld until damages are resolved.
13. Travel
Louella Photography provides a mobile photography service.
Travel within the Wirral area is included.
Sessions outside this area may incur a travel fee starting from £10, depending on distance.
14. Product Delivery
Printed products are usually delivered within approximately two weeks after the final gallery is completed, depending on the product ordered.
15. Force Majeure
Louella Photography is not responsible for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness, emergency, severe weather, government restrictions, or equipment failure.
If such circumstances occur, the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session or offer an alternative solution.
16. Data Protection
By signing this agreement, the Client consents to Louella Photography collecting and storing personal information for the purpose of managing bookings and delivering services.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Photographer by email.
