IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU COMMIT TO GIVING THE DOG ENOUGH TIME TO ADJUST TO THEIR NEW HOME. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT THE TIME & EFFORT NEEDED TO ALLOW THE DOG TO ADJUST TO YOU & YOUR HOME.
A minmum of 30 days is the recommended and standard decompression period we strongly recommend for a Rescue dog to be fully integrated in a new unfamiliar home and environment.
Geraldine Foundation for Strays makes no representations or warranties, expressed or implied, about the animal's temperament and is hereby absolved from any liability for future damages or injuries caused by said animal.
I also understand and agree that Geraldine Foundation for Strays further gives no guarantees, expressed or implied, of the suitability of the animal to the adopter and/or his family.
Geradine Foundation for Strays agrees to cover the cost for general medical care including spay/neuter, shots, preventatives and antibiotics. If a Foster dog requires specialized medical care the Rescue may cover those expenses up to a maximum of $1000, at their discretion. The Foster can donate towards specialized medical care and that amount can be deducted from the dog’s adopt donation if they choose to adopt the dog. The Foster’s medical donation is voluntary and non-refundable.
If you fail as a Foster/Adopter for any reason or the dog's life is in danger due to negligence, the RESCUE that accepts your Adopt/Foster Application will require the dog be returned to the Rescue facility. As the dog's Adopter/Foster you are responsible for safe and proper transport.
