Members of the Regional Council
The Regional Council is the gathering of ministry personnel and lay Representatives from the Communities of Faith and ministries, for community, worship, inspiration and business. The Regional Council meets regularly, at a General Meeting called by the Regional Council Executive and Executive Minister.
The Representatives to the Regional Council are determined in a specific way, according to the Manual:
All ministry personnel (active and retired) are members
Lay members who are elected to Regional Council by their Community of Faith
Lay member Representatives to the Regional Council are elected by their Communities of Faith on the following basis:
i) one Representative from each Community of Faith with 100, or fewer members;
ii) two Representatives from each Community of Faith with 101 to 200 members;
iii) three Representatives from each Community of Faith with 201 to 300 members;
iv) four Representatives from each Community of Faith with more than 300 resident members.
