This April, Alephs and B’nai B’rith Girls from around the world will participate in a weeklong transformative journey throughout Germany. The trip will begin in Berlin where we will explore the rich history and current institutions of the German Jewish community to gain a stronger sense of global Jewish responsibility and strengthen our Jewish identities. Along the way, we’ll be connecting with the local teens and chapters of ZWST. The delegation will also be participating in a powerful leadership seminar with our brothers and sisters in ZWST in Bad Sobernheim (a city an hour outside Frankfurt). This special experience promises to be one filled with learning, laughter, global leadership training, and Shabbat celebrations you’ll never forget.
All members from around the global BBYO Movement are invited to apply. Russian-speaking Jewish teens are highly encouraged to be a part of this experience. No specific BBYO leadership criteria are necessary. All participants will be expected to run a follow-up program in their community and submit a reflection about their experience to their local press.
Applications for this program will close on Wednesday, March 13. BBYO reserves the right to close the application early if demand is high. We cannot guarantee a spot for every teen who applies because of limited space. All applicants will need to be approved by BBYO staff before being fully confirmed as a member of the Ambassador delegation. Do not wait to apply—the last few Ambassadors missions sold out in a few days! BBYO will announce on the AZA & BBG Lead Hub once this trip has been waitlisted.
