Arid Garden team - Our first demonstration garden, volunteers work on Friday mornings.
Art-in-the-Park - A community service event - Assist in this festival at Desert Meadows Park the 3rd Saturday in October. Several volunteer tasks.
Canoa Ranch team - Restoring ranch gardens in this historic conservation park. Volunteers work on Tuesday mornings.
Desert Meadows Park team - Volunteers can work as a group on Wednesday mornings, or can adopt a section and work on their own schedule.
Hospitality table at seminars - Volunteers provide coffee and help with refreshments at weekly seminars.

Leadership roles - Volunteer to serve as co-chair or chair of a committee or project, or severe on the board.
Marketing committee - Volunteers place ads, create and distribute pamphlets, produce fliers for events, etc.
Median team - Volunteers oversee the beautification of medians in our community. Requires effective communication with and support of other community stakeholders ~ the Chamber, HOA/POA's, County, etc.
Membership activities - Volunteers organize activities that benefit our membership ~ these can be educational, social, etc.
Native Habitat committee - Volunteers provide direction for our organization to promote the use of native vegetation to enhance the Santa Cruz Valley migratory corridor.
Newsletter - Volunteers create and publish articles of interest to the membership.
Plant sales - Volunteers organize and conduct a Spring and Fall plant sale. These are major fundraisers for the club.
Rescue team - Volunteers harvest unwanted plants and yard items from residents of the community. The rescued items are either used in one of the club's projects, or sold at the nursery.
Seminars committee - Volunteers recruit speakers and manage the weekly seminars that are open to the public. Seminars are held on the 1st and 2nd Thursday of the winter season (September through April).
Spring Garden Tour - Volunteers select the gardens, recruit volunteers and manage the event. The tour includes 5 gardens and is held in April. This is a key fundraiser for the club.
Technology - Volunteers implement technologies that improve the operation of the club. We currently use Square, Constant Comment, Google Workspace, WordPress and a few other programs.
Youth Programs - Volunteers seek opportunities to introduce youth to Sonoran Desert ecology.
