Mentors will be the main facilitators of the CEA Fellowship. They will provide content learning and coaching for their assigned fellows.
Completed applications must be received at CEA Headquarters by May 24th, 2019. Virtual Interviews will be in the afternoon of June 3rd. Applicants will be notified by June 7, 2019. The mentorship position is open to and will be accessible to all interested applicants from across the state. Geographic location will not prohibit full participation in the fellowship.
Mentors must be committed to attend all face-to-face and online meetings. A stipend of $2,500 for approximately 100 hours over the fellowship term is provided upon completion. Mentors will support approximately 6 fellows throughout the year.
- Fellows interviews and Mentor retreat on July 22nd and 23rd
- A Jump-Start retreat in September 2019 TBD
- A Winter retreat in January 2020 TBD
- A 2-hour online meeting in October, November, March, April and May with dates and times TBD.
- A Lobby Day in February/March TBD
- 1-hour check-ins via face-to-face or online monthly with dates and times TBD
- To support fellows approximately 4 hours a month to move their leadership forward
- To attend CEA’s Summer Leadership Conference in June 2020 TBD
