There are 3 stages to the interview process: (1) application, (2) inidividual interview, and (3) group interview.
APPLICATION: All information received both in your application and references are confidential. The complete application is due by Monday, March 18 at 5pm. The complete application consists of the application form and two references (one from a faculty member or staff person and one from a peer). It is your responsibility to email your references this form and make sure your references have completed your reference form by March 18.
INDIVIDUAL INTERVIEW: All applicants will be notified via email by March 20 if they will be offered an in-person interview. Should you receive an interview, you will be sent a link to schedule your interview. Interviews will be held in the Student Activities Office from Wednesday, March 22 - Friday, March 29. As a part of the interview process, you will need to complete the "paper bag task". Please come to the interview with a creative expression of yourself by showing what can be done with a simple paper bag. Your only guideline is to be creative. Once you have signed up for an interview, please come by the Student Activities Office and pick up your paper bag for this element of the interview.
GROUP INTERVIEW: The final stage of the interview process is a group interview. This group interview will take place on the evening of Wednesday, April 3. More information will follow as this date approaches.
If you have any questions regarding this application process or about being part of the College Union board, please feel free to contact either of us.
Sincerely,
Peter Hansen and Kedisha Kelly, College Union Staff Advisors
