  • CASLI requires that each test site to offer a minimum of 10 time slots per year. Is your test site facility able to offer at least this many exam slots per year?
  • You understand that your site will primarily administer the Performance exam (with Case Studies/Gap Test) while the CASLI Generalist Knowledge Exam (CGKE) will be administered through other test delivery company (Scantron/Meazure Learning)?

  • Very occasionally, we have candidates who request ADA Accommodations such as extended testing time, frequent breaks, ability to sit or stand, bottled water in the exam room, a private testing room for the knowledge exam, etc.. Will you acknowledge that in the event a candidate requests ADA Accommodations, you will be contacted by CASLI with guidance on the provision of these accommodations and as an LTA you are obliged to provide those accommodations to the best of your ability.

  • Testing Room and Equipment

    • Private Room for testing: a quiet, tidy private space with a desk/table, a desktop computer and chair, or a university testing center, a quiet classroom with desktop computers that allows for privacy during testing, etc.). 
    • Performance exams can be administered in a private and quiet testing room, tidy and free from any distractions (e.g. a windowto a busy hallway except if there are window coverings). This room must also have sufficient lighting for video and either a solid color wall or a backdrop for the exam candidate. The room must also have an armless chair for the candidates to sit in.
    • Tech Requirements: A computer with specs of Intel Core 2 Duo or higher and a 21-inch monitor screen or larger. Internet connection with a speed that is at least 10 mbps download / 10 mbps upload speed

  • Conflict of Interest

  • Outside Business/Professional Relationships with CASLI examination candidates: Describe any business/professional relationship you have or potentially could have with examination candidates in an outside venture. Examples might be Interpreter trainer or college professor of interpreting students, hiring manager for an interpreting agency or a recruiter for an interpreter education program, etc.

  • Any Other Actual or Potential Conflicts of Interest: Describe any actual or potential conflicts between your outside interests or activities and your duties and responsibilities as an agent of the CASLI.

  • Are you currently an RID nationally certified interpreter?
  • Do you intend to pursue national interpreter certification, or are you planning/hoping to take and CASLI exams yourself?
  • Acknowledgement of Confidentiality and Nondisclosure

  • I acknowledge that in connection with my service as a Local Test Administrator with the Center for theAssessment of Sign Language Interpretation, LLC (CASLI) on the national, regional, state, and/or local level, I will have access to and may become aware of confidential information, including, without limitation, information regarding procedures, methods, and content, and data used by CASLI in the assessment of interpreters throughout the country. I further acknowledge that any information that is shared with me or accessed by me during my service with CASLI that is identified as “confidential” or that has not been made publicly available by CASLI is deemed to be of a confidential nature and is owned as a proprietary right by CASLI.I agree that I will not allow any third party to have access to any materials containing such confidential information provided to me by or on behalf CASLI; that, upon CASLI’s request or upon the completion of my service with CASLI, I will delete, destroy, or return to CASLI any such materials in my possession; and that I will not reproduce any such materials by any means, including memorization or recall. I further agree that I will not use such confidential information for any purpose other than the scope of work assigned to me as a Local Test Administrator, or for consultation or interpreter training purposes, and will not disclose this information to any third party during my consultation, training, or service with CASLI or subsequent thereto, unless otherwise authorized by CASLI in writing. I acknowledge that CASLI may pursue legal action for any violation of this Agreement or other improper use of such confidential information by me or by others through me, and that CASLI, in connection with such action, may use this Agreement, and may seek all available remedies, including without limitation, injunctive relief, damages, and attorney’s fees and costs.

  • Should be Empty:
