This course is presented by the Oregon Referee Committee in cooperation with the Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League.
The Grade 8 Referee Course is an introductory course for aspiring referees ages 13 and older. Grade 8 referees are eligible to officiate a variety of recreational and competitive matches.
$85 (includes $40 course fee and $45 for the 2019 USSF registration fee)
**Students who cancel without rescheduling will incur a $10 fee upon refund**
USSF Laws of the Game Training Modules (REQUIRED)
The Laws of the Game modules MUST be completed BEFORE attending the course. Students who have not completed the online training 24 hours before the course start date may be dropped from the roster.
Please note that reviewing the Laws of the Game modules takes most students approximately 3 hours.

Students must also complete the CDC Heads Up concussion training course before attending the Grade 8 Class. This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and students MUST print a copy of the certificate of completion and submit it to their Grade 8 course instructor.
Note: The US Soccer concussion module is NOT sufficient to meet this requirement.
