  • The Orange County Health Care Agency (HCA) is committed to providing quality service

    and supporting an environment that encourages excellence. In 2011 an employee committee revised this edition of the Code of Conduct to ensure that this document remains relevant to our workforce.

     

    The HCA Code of Conduct is intended to:

    ● Communicate County and HCA expectations of ethical behavior;

    ● Communicate the commitment of HCA to promote compliance with laws, regulations, contractual obligations and standards of care consistent with community standards; and

    ● Familiarize all staff with the basic legal principles and ethical standards

    of behavior expected throughout HCA.

     

    The HCA Code of Conduct complements but does not replace Mariposa’s policies and procedures

    and Code of Conduct.

     

    All regular employees, contract employees, volunteers and other designated individuals are to follow the general principles of this

    Code of Conduct.

     

    I hereby certify that I have read a copy of the HCA Code of Conduct.  I understand that if I fail to comply with the Code of Conduct, I may be subject to disciplinary action including dismissal and/or a request for resignation.  I agree to comply with the HCA Code of Conduct for as a condition of (check one):
