Eligible sale items include local farm and horticultural products, locally produced specialty foods, local arts and crafts. No resale items. All sale items subject to approval.
Displaying and Selling Goods: Participants must furnish their own tents, tables, chairs and display arrangements. Prices of all items must be clearly marked and in full view of the customers and a seller’s permit must be displayed. All vendors selling prepared foods must pre-register prior to the sale day(s), maintain liability insurance and submit a copy of current policy information and State food license with this application. Food items prepared in uncertified kitchens (legally sold under the “Pickle Law”) must be clearly labeled.
General Rules of Operation: All Federal, State and Local laws must be adhered to, including Health Department Regulations. Vendors are not allowed to bring pets to the market. No power is supplied at the market. Generators are allowed with placement appropriate for noise level. Canopies, tents, tarps and umbrellas etc. must be securely tied down and all tie downs must be secured with sufficient weights to prevent tipping or shifting during market hours.
