Autism Nova Scotia is gathering stories that show what living a good life means to those who need support to live in their own homes.
These stories will be shared with participants who come to the Supported Housing Summit on April 24th, 2019 and may also be shared at the October 18th follow-up event. They are intended to expose and build attendees’ understanding of the types of things that are important to people with autism and other developmental disabilities, as well as the families or caregivers that help support individuals.
Your story should focus on what activities, community life, goals or other things make life good right now, and what might be needed to live a good life in the future. Your story can name the supports that already help you achieve a good life, and what supports you would like to have in the future.
