Sierra Moms is proud to announce our 2020 Children’s Activity and Preschool Expo (CAPE). The Expo is a unique event to showcase your school or children’s activity business to more than 350 families in the local area. It is free to attend and open to the public. Please join us in providing the Folsom/El Dorado Hills community the opportunity to learn about the services you offer. Please note: the venue has limited parking. We ask sponsors and exhibitors to move their vehicles to the park (or the street next to the park) located behind the venue to free up parking spaces for families with children.
Eligibility: Due to the nature of this event, only schools and child-activity businesses are eligible to register for standard exhibitor space at the event. All types of businesses (including schools/activity businesses) are eligible to participate as Sponsors.

REGISTRATION
- Standard Exhibitor: $75- Your registration fee provides you:
- one designated 10'x7' booth space
- one 6 foot table and one chair
- publication in the Expo’s program* which is distributed in print at the event and available on PDF online
- exposure to hundreds of local families seeking information on preschools and other children’s programs.
- ability to place promo materials in the event's swag bag*
Note: Standard Exhibitor spots are only open to schools and child activity businesses (e.g. music, art, language, sports, etc.)
- Silver sponsor: $150- Includes all items above AND allows you to further promote your school, child activity business or other business by:
- Inclusion in our Facebook photo album after the event
- Your logo (small) on the Sierra Moms event website (www.SierraMoms.org/cape2020)
- Professional pipe-and-drape booth setup
- Gold Sponsor: $250- Includes all items above plus additional perks including:
- premium space at event (first two rows)
- your business logo printed* on swag bags
- your business name printed* on advertising flyers
- your business logo (medium) on the Sierra Moms event website
- a Facebook mention prior to the event
- SOLD OUT- Platinum Sponsors: $500- includes all items above plus additional perks including:
- premium 14'x7' booth space at row entry points
- large logo printed* on swag bags and flyers
- your business logo (large) on the Sierra Moms event website
- a Facebook "meet the sponsor" spotlight post prior to the event.

*All printed materials are subject to submission deadlines. We cannot guarantee materials will be included in the swag bags if not received by January 15, 2020. We cannot guarantee placement on printed items, including but not limited to swag bags and flyers, for applications received after December 10, 2020. We cannot guarantee placement in the take-home program for applications received after January 5, 2020.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
- All exhibitors should bring any appropriate displays, merchandise, signs, pamphlets, business cards, raffles and demo items to promote your business.
- Exhibitors are encouraged to provide an interactive activity for young booth visitors. All demonstrations and activities must be *quiet* as the venue can become overwhelmed with loud activities.
NEW THIS YEAR: NO WHISTLES OR WATER BEADS ALLOWED
(failure to follow this guideline will result in not being allowed back at future events)
- This is a "sales-free" event. Sales of goods and tip jars are not permitted. You ARE welcome to offer sign up sheets/program applications.
- You will likely not have access to power. There are only three outlets in the entire area of the venue (and they're all inconvenient to access). Please make sure your activity does not require power.
- Sponsors must submit your logo below or send it to expo@sierramoms.org or upload it in the application below.
Original vector artwork preferred for crisp, legible printing. Note: Logos on swag bags will be printed in one color.
- Materials for swag bags must be provided to the expo coordinator by January 15 in order to ensure their inclusion.
- For safety and continuity, you may not leave your booth early. You must stay until the end of the event and cannot start cleaning up prior to 3pm. If you do, you will not be allowed to return next year.
This is a one-of-a-kind event in this area and it will be heavily advertised, including signs posted by the City of Folsom and expected media coverage. Last year approximately 250 families attended.
PROCESS
Advance registration is required and is on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited and we will sell out. Early registration is encouraged.
1. Complete the form below to apply to participate. Sierra Moms reserves the right to review all submissions for eligibility and suitability. Our first priority is creating a high-quality, useful event that focuses on preschools and children's activity providers.
2. Once approved, you will receive a notice from Sierra Moms and an online invoice via PayPal. If you prefer to pay by check, you will have that option upon being accepted as an exhibitor/sponsor by sending a check payable to Sierra Moms within 2 weeks of acceptance to hold your place. The address will be provided in by email when your application is approved.
3. Once the invoice is paid, you will be confirmed as a participating exhibitor/sponsor.

Note: Once you have paid for a space, we cannot offer any refunds for any reason. However, if you haven't yet paid, and you cancel your application prior to 1/15/20, we can void your invoice. If you cancel your application after 1/15/20, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee due to already having been printed in the program.
