Projectoree 3-5 May at Camp Wilson, Pohick Regional Park.
Scouts will gather at the Church Parking lot on Friday, 5/3 at 4.30 PM. They will depart the church at 5 PM and return on Sunday 5/5 around 1 PM.
Patrols participate in games of skill and scout craft with other troops in the Chain Bridge District. This campout develops team building and is a great patrol building event in preparation for going to summer camp. All
new scouts should go to this campout to begin developing patrol teamwork. Patrol size to participate: minimum of 7
PATROL LEADER OF EACH PATROL attending Projectoree should attend a first organizational meeting SUNDAY, 3/24 at 3:30 pm at St. Agnes Gym.
Senior scouts are needed to run the Troop’s game, and help staff the Projectoree. Senior scouts should come even if they can only make it on Saturday to help run the game.
Costs: $30: (no T-Shirt) or $40 to get this year’s Projectoree T-Shirt (T-shirt is totally optional - except for Staff, we will likely be wearing our troop Class B tshirt instead)
Cooks to buy food for other meals (Sat Breakfast, Dinner and Sunday breakfast).Event supplies hotdog lunch on Saturday.
Those cooking to meet the Cooking merit badge patrol cooking requirement must submit their menu to ASM John Hadley, Cooking merit badge counselor, in order to satisfy the merit badge requirement.
Patrols can practice Projectoree games on Patrol Meeting nights to prepare for the completion.
Parents are welcomed to coming camping with the troop or come down on Saturday to watch the games. Must be registered adult leader or have completed the Youth Protection Training (YPT) to camp with the troop.
