  • Basic Eligibility Criteria for OMB Membership

    • Must be a member of AOAC INTERNATIONAL in good standing
    • Must provide the following supporting documentation:
      • Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
      • A letter of support from the sponsoring organization [employer/supervisor]
      • A minimum of two (2) letters of recommendation, at least one of which should come from someone other than a current employee, employer, or supervisor. Preferably one letter should be from a current member of AOAC.
    • Must be able to commit to a three-year (one term) tenure
    • Must be willing and able to attend monthly conference calls and working group meetings
    • Be able to attend the annual AOAC meetings
    • Be willing and capable of acting as the OMB liaison to advisory panels, working groups, ERPs, the Research Institute, and other AOAC groups as needed
    • Previous service as an AOAC volunteer, liaison or otherwise be familiar with method validation and AOAC science programs (e.g., Official Methods of Analysis, Performance Tested Methods, Laboratory Proficiency Testing, and standards development activities).
