Be a part of the Xtinguish Celebration, and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous Cuyahoga River Fire, and all of the progress that has been made since then!
Plus, what better way to prepare for this year's 48 Hour Film Project than to make a film in 48 hours?
This is an unofficial but fun competition that will follow the same basic rules as the 48 Hour Film Project--you'll have 48 hours to make your film using a genre, character, prop, and line that aren't revealed until Kickoff. But the twist for this special competition is that all films must be shot in, on, around, or otherwise feature the Cuyahoga River!
This is going to be a great way for the 48HFP film community to be involved in the Xtinguish Celebration, and make some awesome films featuring the Cuyahoga River that will be showcased throughout this year's Xtinguish events.
It's FREE to enter, but spaces are limited. We've arranged a FREE showcase of all completed films at moCa Cleveland (an Xtinguish Celebration partner) on May 31st. Plus there may be other opportunities to screen some of the top films at other Xtinguish events.
There are no prizes, but we will have the films judged by a panel of film professionals, a panel of environmental professionals, and public Audience Choice.
