What is a SAH?
SAH stands for Student Activity Helper. The LCSC SAH program is designed to give students an opportunity to put "service" in LaMoine Christian SERVICE Camp. SAH's assist the full-time summer staff by helping with kitchen work, meal clean-up, yard work, helping in the canteen, build the camp fire, and many other service areas.
Why be a SAH?
In addition to serving God in this unique way, SAH's get to be at the camp an additional 1-2 weeks each summer at no expense. In fact, they receive $30.00 off of their week of camp as a camper if they serve one week and $50.00 off their week of camp as a camper if they serve two or more weeks. They also receive a FREE canteen card, FREE meals and housing, and a FREE special addition SAH t-shirt that only SAH's and staff receive. Oh yeah, and they get to have a great time with the full-time staff and their new friends.
How do I become a SAH?
You MUST be going into 7th grade this fall and must not be older than 18-years old. You MUST fill out this form by April 15th. First time SAH's MUST attend the SAH Retreat May 24-25, however, we encourage ALL SAH's to attend the retreat. Lastly, you MUST be willing to serve.
SAH's will be selected by April 30th. We try to give every applicant an opportunity to serve, but not all will be selected as there may not be enough space available. Preference will be given based on age and experience.
