To be eligible, a C Grade referee must have completed at least 50 senior games. Ask Cav for your tally if you are unsure.

Please choose one of the following training programs and please note you must attend both weeks for the full night (theory and practical):

1. 2024 June

Week 1: 5.30pm-10:15pm on Wednesday 19th June and,

Week 2: 5.30pm-10:15pm on Wednesday 26th June

2. 2024 Term 3

These dates are mandatory for anyone wanting their B Grade and there are no other dates available throughout the year. 

FORMAT

There is a mandatory theory session in-person for one hour each week followed by on court training of at least two games each night.   

There are also online courses and exam which must be completed before the first week of on-court training.

After the two shifts, you will be informed as pass, near pass or unsuccessful. Most referee require two attempts at referee training to achieve B Grade.
