Please encourage your students to submit a proposal and attend the conference. Students may submit poster presentation proposals on research that they are planning to conduct, as well as research that is in progress or completed. If the submission is for a proposed research study, the methods section should outline the anticipated methods and the results section should describe the anticipated results based on the literature review (much like a dissertation proposal). Posters submitted solely as literature reviews will not be accepted; however, meta-analyses are welcome. Topics for the posters must be in either academic, college or career, social/emotional domain, data/accountability, or special populations.
Applicants must be a student member of NYSSCA to be considered for this poster session. Each student may only appear as a presenter on one poster. Presenters are welcome to include adviser/ supervisor names in an optional acknowledgements section, but only graduate students are eligible to be presenters for this session. Members of the program committee will review all submissions.
