WEATHER ADVISORY: Inclement weather conditions beyond our control such as hurricanes, tropical storms, heavy snow, extreme heat/wind, and near-to-below freezing temperatures may require changes to installation dates without notice.
Notifications
Currently we can't depend our installers to send confirmations when deliveries/installs/uninstalls get done (as safety would be a concern) but please let us know if there are any issues and we will dispatch as soon as we can.
Other than the automated receipt of message e-mail that you should receive after you submit your request from the form, we currently do not send confirmations for deliveries/installations.
Timing
Production on your order only begins after we receive an e-mail confirming your order and proof.
Requests received after 3 PM will not be reviewed until the next business day. For most orders requesting standard signage before the weekend, we must receive an e-mail confirming your order and approving your proof(s) by Tuesday at 3PM.
Communication
Please relay all questions about signage over e-mail. In order to avoid misinterpretation and to have a paper trail for requests, we do not take phone calls.
IMPORTANT! If you have requested INSTALLATION or REMOVAL/UNINSTALL:
- If we have availability we may install/uninstall your sign earlier than your requested date without notice. Let us know if this CAN NOT be the case.
- Request your signage for installation ahead of the date when it is needed. If you need signage installed or uninstalled by a specific date, please be sure to request a date that is at least 1 day prior.
- Mark the specific locations of where you would like to place the sign with marker flags. We have provided your office with marker flags. If flags are not possible, e-mail us a marked up photo. This lets us know where you would like the sign installed and avoids any misinterpretation of written instructions.
- If you do not specify a location with a flag or photo, the installer will place the sign using their own judgement. This may include attaching the signage to a fence, railing, or siding with zip ties or screws. You will be responsible for any disagreement on placement and method of installation. Additional fees will apply if a re-install is requested.
- You are solely responsible for verifying permission from all concerned parties involved with the property, including any associations, co-ops, trustees, owners, neighbors, and any laws and ordinances, to have a sign of this size installed at the marked location. We want to save everyone time and money if there are any issues restricting the sign from this location.
- You must inform us of any issues that may limit installation including: irrigation lines, sprinklers, service pipes, electrical lines, virtual pet fencing, lawn ornaments, flowers, plants and vegetation.
- If a seller, owner, or tenant refuses installation of your sign, you will still be charged up to the full cost of installation plus any additional fees that may apply.
- We do not provide storage as a separate service. Storage is not provided for free. Storage is provided only as a benefit for signage that is produced and installed/uninstalled by us.
- If signage is removed and brought to us for storage for any reason, you will still be charged for the cost of uninstall. We determine what is stored and can refuse storage for any reason.
- We only install posts that we sell - we do not install posts that are not purchased from us.
- We cannot ensure the condition of your signage once it has been installed. Requests for re-installation will be scheduled for evaluation and invoiced at current rates.
- If we did not install it, we will not remove it. Unless agreed upon beforehand, any signage/items found at a property and not installed by us will be left at the property. This includes riders, banners, lights, balloons, flags, etc.
- URL riders are recycled when your sign is uninstalled. If you would like to retain your URL riders, please remove them prior to submitting a signage request for removal.
- We cannot remove any existing signage at a property for another broker/agent even if the signage has your name on it.
- Sign must be in the same location for uninstall, or at least in a visible and accessible place. We will not search for a sign on a property if it has been relocated from its original location. You will still be charged if the sign is missing. If the installer must return to a location a second time due to a missing sign, you will be charged an additional fee.
IMPORTANT! Additional charges outside our service area:
We are proud to provide service to all neighborhoods in Boston as well as Arlington, Belmont, Braintree, Brookline, Cambridge, Everett, Hingham, Malden, Medford, Milton, Newton, Quincy, Somerville, Watertown, and Weymouth. For locations outside of our service area, our normal service fee applies plus $3 per mile beyond a 5 mile driving distance from our shop. For example, if service is requested for an address in Wayland (19 driving miles from our shop), our normal service fee would apply plus an additional $42.
