Harry Linback worked for the Lafayette YMCA as the Program Director from 1980-1985. His responsibilities included running the after school program, youth sports, and Straight Arrow Day Camp. Harry continued his career as the Executive Director at the Huntington YMCA, where he oversaw a facility YMCA as well as YMCA Camp Dick Runyan. Harry impacted the lives of numerous youth, staff, and adults throughout his 20+ years with the YMCA.

Harry attended camp as a child because of the generosity of a local pharmacist in Francesville, IN. This experience helped to shape Harry's career and influenced his desire to provide children with a life-changing camp experience.

Prior to Harry's passing, his family set up the "No Camper Left Behind" Fund so that his legacy would live on for years to come.
All requests must be submitted by May 5th for Preschool Camp and May 15th for all other camps. Requests received after May 15th may still be reviewed and financial aid funds could still be awarded if funds are available. All decisions made concerning financial assistance awarded will be made by the family of Harry Linback or persons designated by them.

Any assistance provided for campers may be used for only one session of Straight Arrow Day Camp this summer.

All funding that is provided by the Harry Linback No Camper Left Behind Fund will be paid directly to the Lafayette YMCA and will be deducted from your final bill for Straight Arrow Day Camp. A member of Harry Linback's family will be in touch with you via email shortly after you submit your application.
