Expenses will vary by individual or group. Propose continuing education that you feel will best enrich your skills and knowledge as a financial educator or group of financial educators. The following list is provided only as an example of qualifying expenses:
Conference registration, flights, or hotel expenses for attending financial education conferences.
Fees associated with pursuing a financial education certification or accreditation.
Registration fees for local or state trainings and events in financial education.
Food expenses, mileage costs, and financial education books or other resources do not qualify for reimbursement, unless books or materials are a required part of a certification self-study course.
Funding Allocations and Restrictions
We understand that plans can change. If you need to reallocate some of your funds, or you think it's best to change your approved activities, let us know! Approval is required for major variances in your planned activities and expenses, but funds are flexible.
Suggested Continuing Education Opportunities
Proposals that are thorough and detail-oriented have a better chance of receiving funding from CashCourse. Be clear on how the proposed professional development will impact your work and illustrate your need for the training. Copy and pasted descriptions of the events or trainings will not be considered sufficient information.
