Hello Deerfoot Moms!
Purpose of the Moms Summit: The DL Moms Summit is a weekend event designed to increase dialogue and collaboration between DL moms and DL leadership about our shared mission to build godly men.
Dates & Times: September 13-15, 2019. Moms Summit will begin at dinner (6:00 PM) on Friday and conclude after lunch (12:30 PM) on Sunday.
Location: All housing, meals and activities will be held at Deerfoot Lodge Adirondacks (Speculator, NY). Deerfoot's housing and facilities are rustic.
Beds: Wooden bunks with a 4" foam mattress. Moms should bring their own bedding (a sleeping bag is recommended)
Cabins: Rustic cabins with screened windows. Be aware that September days and nights can be cold and there is no heater. The cabins have gas or LED lighting, but no electricity.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms (with flush toilets) are available, as well as showers. Since all of our electricity is via generator, we cannot accomodate hair dryers or curling irons.
Meals: Balanced meals will be served family style. Mom's who require dietary restrictions should explain their needs on the Application. Please note that we cannot accomodate non-medically required restrictions (Kosher, vegan, etc)
Activities: Expect large group and small group gatherings and activities as well as some free time for activities or personal reflection. A "What to Bring" list will be sent to participants after they register.
Registration & Payment: The Moms Summit is for moms of current Deerfoot campers/staff. Registration is limited to 50.
The event cost is $165 which can be paid via credit card or PayPal upon submission of this registration form. Use the Submit Button at the end of the form.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be granted up to three weeks before the event. Within three weeks, refunds will only be issued if we can replace your spot.
