Graduation policy – A student may lack up to a maximum of six (6) credits or one course (if more than six credits) and participate in the commencement ceremony. However, the student is not awarded a degree until the deficiency is completed at Mount Aloysius College or a minimum grade of “C” for the deficiency is received in transfer from an approved accredited institution. The date of the degree will be that of the semester in which all requirements are fulfilled.
NOTE: Graduate students may apply to participate in the commencement ceremony lacking up to a maximum of six (6) credits which will be completed by the end of the following summer term. Students completing a thesis, as a requirement of their program, should apply for graduation at the time they preparing for their defense meeting within the department However, the student is not awarded a degree until the semester in which all requirements are fulfilled. Students in graduate programs are required to have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average in their graduate course work.
All applicants will be billed a graduation fee of $180.00.
Please complete form by the first Friday in November for May graduation or the first Friday in April for December graduation.
