The building management has purchased a number of routers for tenant acces to the internet services. You may also choose to utilize your own router to suit your own purposes. If you wish to use a router provided by the building management, please contact them directly and have your router available before completing this form.
Self-installation can be done and activated within 24 hours and often in as few as three hours if placed before 5pm Monday through Friday.
In order to perform a self-installation you will need to have the MAC address of your router when filling out this form. This is a string of numbers and letters on the bottom or back of the router similar to this: 6A:BF:14:6D:31:BE. The MAC address may be listed with or without colons separating the digits. On some routers it may list a separate address for the WAN and LAN. The WAN MAC address is the address that is needed to activate services. We also require SNMP v2 to be active on the router to ensure QOS and for troubleshooting if there is a problem.
If you wish to perform a self-installation and are unsure of how to setup your router properly, simply choose the "Assisted self-installation" from the options on the following page. If you choose to install without assistance and run into problems, don't worry. We'll be glad to assist. Simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
