Performing artists wishing to participate in Gazebo Nights and/or T.I.P.S. must complete this application in full.
Since 2002, the Gazebo Nights Summer Performance Series has brought a variety of live performances to summer visitors of Pioneer Park in the white gazebo by the Harding Train Car. Free, nightly performances include music, dance, storytelling, and much more.
Gazebo Nights performers are scheduled for one day every week during the months of June, July, or August (Mondays in July, Thursdays in August, etc.). Nightly performances are from 7-8 pm (with early arrival for set up) and each performance pays $50 with checks issued at the end of the month. Performances must be appropriate for a family-friendly environment.
Totally Impromptu Performance Series (T.I.P.S.)
In the summer, Pioneer Park is busy with visitors who enjoy outdoor activities, various museums or exhibitions, and many vendors who sell their handmade items. To complete the relaxed summer atmosphere in Pioneer Park, Fairbanks Arts offers buskers an opportunity to share their talents as part of the Totally Impromptu Performance Series. T.I.P.S. artists are an integral part of the busy summer and entertain visitors as they enjoy their time in the park.
Visitors can catch T.I.P.S. performers at various locations throughout Pioneer Park including the Gazebo Stage, the Stampede Stage, or the Gold Rush Town Boardwalk Stage.
T.I.P.S. artists must abide by Pioneer Park regulations and be current Fairbanks Arts members.
