  • If you are interested in bringing your 3rd or 4th grade class(es), please complete the form below. **Please note, your space is NOT confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us AND we have received your $25 deposit for each CLASS.

    Early Bird registration begins January 13-March 27, 2025. Early Bird registrants receive FREE educational materials from the Hamilton County Farm Bureau.

    Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If space is still available, registration deadline is Friday, April 11, 2025.

  • We will have staggered start times between 8:30am-11:45am to avoid students gathering in large groups.

    Please request the times that best fit your school schedule.

    You will be contacted by Gorman Heritage Farm staff to coordinate and confirm your exact program time.

    The program is first-come, first-serve and morning start times fill up quickly!

    Students will be on the farm for 2 hours and 15 minutes and will be actively learning during that time.

    Schools may NOT come early or stay late for lunch. If you choose to extend your field trip time to include lunch, that must be done offsite.

  • The Hamilton County Farm Bureau has grants to cover the cost of transportation. If you need financial assistance with transportation costs, please indicate so below and you will be contacted by a Farm Bureau representative.

  • A $25 refundable deposit is required for EACH CLASS to hold your time slot. Please mail the deposit check to:

    Checks will not be cashed and will be returned to the teacher on the day of the event. If schools do not show up for the event, the check will be deposited at that time.  

    If the event must be cancelled for inclement weather, you will be notified the day before the event. If that happens, all deposit checks will be returned.

  • We are only offering programming during the approved time slots. Due to the number of students on site, your class will NOT be able to stay on site for lunch. 

  • ​The distance from the parking area to the furthest education station is around 1/4 mile. Students will be walking from station to station on paved, wheelchair accessible pathways. By clicking below you indicate you have addressed any mobility concerns within your group and understand that on-site transportation will not be available the day of the event.

  • All students and adults are required to wear name tags, unless this violates your school's policy. This event will be held outdoors, rain or shine. So please have students come dressed for the weather. Everyone must wear closed-toe shoes! Old tennis shoes or boots are ideal, please no crocs or other slip on shoes. 

    Adults must stay with the students at all times. We ask that you help to manage the group and keep the children engaged at each education station.
