Synopsis
Three evenings to arrive at a better understanding of the many core tenets of the Christian faith which Protestants have in common with the Roman Catholic Church.
While important differences will be noted, the aim is to find the common ground on which we can stand and work together, inspired by C. S. Lewis’s “Mere Christianity” and John Wesley’s “Letter to a Roman Catholic” (1749).
Exploring the concept of a ‘pilgrim church’, the course invites us to discover how to journey together in Christ, who is Lord of all, and witness together of the hope within us.
For the in-person session on 24 March, we have invited Rev Msgr Peter Zhang Siqian, CDD, Vicar General of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore to give a presentation and answer our questions.
