Schedule Requests for School Year Lessons
Let me know what works best for you during the 2019-2020 school year.
Please list at least three days/times for lesson that work BEST for you. HIES lessons are M-W, Lakeside are R-F.
Please list days/times that are IMPOSSIBLE for you.

All students are expected to arrive to lesson on time, alert, with all assigned materials, ready to work/play.
All students are expected to practice! For reals.
This studio is a team. We work hard so every student can thrive. Sometimes lessons will go over time, go under time, or even be cancelled so that another student can get what he/she needs. The same will happen for you when you need it. Please be gracious and generous.
This studio is a team. If another person needs to switch lessons with you and it is possible for you to switch with them, please do it. You will be grateful when met with the same kindness in your time of need.
I understand and agree to the following payment policies:
All school-year lessons are prepaid.
Payment is due the week BEFORE the first of the month.
Payments may be made in lesson via check or cash OR paid online via PayPal. Checks should be made out to Erin Shepherd Murray.
A late fee of $25 will be charged for any payments received after the 5th of the month.
An additional late fee of $25 will be charged for any payments received after the 10th of the month.
LAKESIDE STUDENTS must bring post-dated checks made out to Lakeside Choral Boosters for August-May by August 10th. These checks will be cashed on the first of each month. No exceptions.
Tuition is the same every month, even during holidays. We will take off one week for Thanksgiving, two weeks for Winter Break, and a week for Spring Break.
If you need to terminate lessons, I require either one month's notice or one month's payment.
I understand and agree to the following attendance and make-up policies:
It is the student's responsibility to manage his/her schedule.
Officially, no make-up lessons are offered. If you have cancelled a lesson within the 48 hour grace period, you may reschedule when there is an empty spot in the schedule.
All school-year lessons will be completed by the end of May. Any lessons not scheduled are then forfeited. No missed lessons will go over into summer, and no refunds will be given.
All scheduling happens through mymuiscstaff.com. If you need to cancel or reschedule, it must be done through the website, NOT by emailing/calling/texting/telling in person.
Lesson re-scheduling is offered as a courtesy, but should not be expected and is not guaranteed.
All lesson rescheduling will happen during regularly scheduled lesson times when other students have cancelled.
In extenuating circumstances, FaceTime lessons are offered instead of face-to-face lessons. If you do not wish to do a FaceTime lesson, that is fine, but you will forfeit your lesson that week. No make-ups will be available if you decline the FaceTime lesson.
STUDIO CLASS is an excellent way to hone your performance skills, make friends, have fun, and get in some of your make-up lessons. Studio classes will be held four times/year and count as two make-up credits. Dates/times are listed under "events" on the studio website: erinshepherdmurray.com
All lessons cancellations should happen AS SOON AS YOU KNOW ABOUT THEM in order to allow other students to sign up for their spots. Remember, this studio is a team! Help your fellow students by cancelling early!
The studio schedule is listed on the MyMusicStaff website under "switching and cancelling lessons". Please try to switch with someone if you know you need to miss!
