Athens-Clarke County is developing concepts for a pedestrian bridge connection for the Firefly Trail. These options are being developed through a robust community engagement process that includes listening sessions (March 2019), public meetings (May 2019), online surveys (March and May 2019), and a public open house (Fall 2019).
The May public meetings gave the public an opportunity to provide input on preliminary concepts for the Firefly Bridge over Trail Creek. Preliminary concepts were based on feedback from the March Listening Sessions and technical assessment of The Trestle.
This survey enables participants who could not attend a May public meeting to view the same materials and provide the same feedback on concepts as those who did attend. To view exhibits from the public meetings, you can enlarge the PDF below.
We encourage you to visit the project website to watch a brief a narrated PowerPoint from the May public meetings and to view larger versions of the boards: https://www.athensclarkecounty.com/8735/Firefly-Bridge-Over-Trail-Creek
