This class, developed by the Points of Light Volunteer Center National Network, is being offered by experts from the Volunteer Center of South Jersey. The course is designed to deliver best practices training for individuals who are new to or currently manage or coordinate volunteers for nonprofits, schools, government sector, faith-based or service organization. It is a six-part in class series, running 3 hours each covering the following topics:

Recruiting and Placing Volunteers:
Matching Volunteer Skills and Service Needs
Orientation and Training:
Achieving Service Excellence
Maximizing the Volunteer Experience

Objectives: Each session in the series has three to five learning objectives. Participants will earn a certificate upon completion of this volunteer management course.
