Green Jobs Internship Application

Our mission is to cultivate local leadership in sustainable farming, food access and education, and foster an inclusive, welcoming community for everyone.
Our Vision is a community that works collaboratively to provide equitable access to nutritious food via a just and resilient food system.

We seek curious, dependable, good-natured individuals with active interests in food, farming, and working with children. Applicants should have good communication skills, the ability to take initiative, and the desire to be part of an active farm and gardening community.

Applicants should be able to comfortably lift 25 pounds and engage in repetitive work, in all weather conditions. Applicants MUST be City of Poughkeepsie residents aged 14 to 20 or Poughkeepsie High School students to be eligible for this internship. This is due to the funding sources. Funding for this internship is provided in part by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board, NYS OCFS, and Dutchess County Division of Youth Services.
