Through the generosity of our Virginia Nurses Today publishing partner, Arthur Davis Publishing, scholarships are available for Mind Matters: Improving Mental Healthcare Delivery Across Settings, VNA/VNF's 2019 fall conference.
- 4 scholarships will be awarded.
- Scholarships will cover the entire cost of one conference registration per recipient. Recipients are responsible for any travel and hotel costs.
- Applicants must be VNA members in good standing who have never attended VNA's fall conference.
- Priority will be given to applicants who are from a group that has historically been disadvantaged or underrepresented in the nursing profession. The term “historically disadvantaged” refers to the challenges facing individuals because of their race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or similar factors. Eligible individuals include—but are not limited to—individuals from ethnic and racial groups historically underrepresented in nursing, people from low-income rural or urban communities, and individuals with a learning or physical disability. These examples are intended to be illustrative, not exclusive.
- Applications must be received by July 31 at 11:59 p.m.
- By submitting an application, applicants agree that if selected, their conference registration will be covered, and they (applicant) will be responsible for travel/hotel and other costs associated with conference attendance.
