How Long Should My Presentation Be?

Guest Lecture (Approximately 10-12 minutes)

Clinical Note (Approximately 3-5 minutes)

What Equipment Do I Need To Record My Presentation?

A cell phone and a stack of books

or you can use

A camcorder and tripod

How Do I Record My Presentation?

(Step 1)

THIS IS IMPORTANT

Set up your phone or camcorder

at about eye level

(Step 2)

IF YOU ARE USING YOUR PHONE...

Make sure your phone is sideways (landscape view)

and

In "Selfie" View

(Step 3)

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

Make sure you are far enough from the phone or camcorder,

so that there is a little room over your head

and you can see most of your torso

(Step 3a)

SERIOUSLY

Don't get too close to your phone or camcorder

so that your head fills the screen

(Step 4)

Press Record

Introduce yourself as follows:

"Hello...I'm 'Jane Doe'...Welcome to my office"

"My Guest Lecture (OR Clinical Note) is titled..."

(Step 5)

Give your Presentation

When you are finished, press Stop

Don't worry if the recording goes on a bit after you finish

We will do a final editing

How Do I Upload My Presentation?

When you are ready to upload your presentation

Open the email we sent you and click on UPLOAD VIDEO

(be sure to check the spam folder)

You can open the email on your phone and upload from there

or

Transfer your video to your computer and upload from there
