Guest Lectures are intended to inspire and inform, encompassing the history, beliefs, and passions of Communication Sciences and Disorder. They are designed to provide graduate students with information that may help them meet the 2020 Standards for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and Audiology (CCC-A). Topics may include, (but are not limited to) speech and language disorders, ethics, interdisciplinary practice, supervision, and professional issues.
Clinical Notes are based on your own clinical experience. They should provide graduate students with ideas and/or examples that are designed to facilitate their development as clinicians. Topics may include, (but are not limited to) treatment techniques, use of materials, how to talk to parents and caregivers, working with clients who have behavioral issues, report writing, and assessment strategies.
