PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
Fair Play
Seacoast United Management and Staff believes that conduct according to the spirit of Fair Play is essential for the successful development, promotion and involvement in sport. The objective of Fair Play is to foster a sporting spirit, as well as the sporting behavior of coaches, players, team officials and spectators, thereby increasing the enjoyment of all those involved in the game.
Code of Conduct for Parents and Guardians - with young players connected with the Club
Parents have a great influence on children’s enjoyment and success in soccer. All children play soccer because they first and foremost love the game. It is important to remember that however good a child becomes at soccer with Seacoast United, it is important to reinforce the message to parents that positive encouragement will contribute to:
Children enjoying soccer
A sense of personal achievement
Self-esteem
Improving the child’s skills and techniques
A parent’s expectations and attitude have a significant bearing on a child’s attitude towards:
Other players
Officials
Managers
Spectators
Coaches should ensure that parents within Seacoast United are always positive and encouraging towards all of the children, not just their own.
Parents are encouraged to:
Applaud the opposition as well as your own team.
Avoid coaching the child during the game.
Not to shout and scream.
Respect the referee’s decision.
Give attention to each of the children involved in soccer, not just the most talented.
Coaches should ensure that parents within Seacoast United agree and adhere to the club’s Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy.
Code of Conduct for Supporters
Once the club has addressed the conduct of its coaches, players, officials and parents and guardians of its young players, it will be in a position to set an appropriate example to its supporters in terms of behavior.
The crowd is considered to be an organic component of a soccer game. The support of the fans may contribute to the success of the team. The crowd is not expected to watch the game in silence. Encouragement of the teams by shouting, non-abusive, may have a positive influence on the team in accordance with the spirit of Fair Play.
The spectators are, however, expected to respect the opponents and the referee. They should appreciate the performance of the opposition even if they emerge as winners. They should in no way intimidate or frighten opponents, the referee or opposing supporters.
PLAYER FEES & DEPOSITS
Player fees (including deposits) for Seacoast United Soccer Club teams are non-refundable. All player fees must be paid in full by February to avoid suspension of player card (unless a payment plan is in place with the Club, with a valid credit card on file).

If a player joins the club while the season is in progress, a prorated player fee and installments will be worked out with the family.
By signing the contract below, you are agreeing to paying the full annual fee, even if you choose to leave the club prior to the end of the season. Players will not be released from Seacoast United until all player fees are paid in full.
